What data we collect
- Contact and lead forms: your name, email address, phone number, website URL and anything you write in your message.
- Chat: if you use the chat widget, the messages you send and basic technical data are processed by our chat provider.
- Newsletter: your email address — only when you sign up yourself.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to keep the website secure and working properly.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry or quote request (steps taken at your request before entering a contract).
- To deliver and invoice our services (performance of a contract).
- To send you our newsletter (only with your consent — you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To keep this website secure and improve it (legitimate interest).
How long we keep it
No longer than necessary. Enquiry data is kept for up to two years after our last contact. Client and invoicing data is kept as long as the law requires (seven years under Dutch tax rules).
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We share it only with providers we need to run this website and deliver our services — such as our hosting provider, form and chat tooling and email software — under processing agreements where required. Data is stored within the EU wherever possible.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time to access, correct, delete or transfer your data, to restrict or object to processing, or to withdraw consent you gave earlier. Email info@upvolv.com and we will respond within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Security
This website uses SSL encryption, and access to personal data is limited to the people who need it to help you.
